Let’s talk about it calmly and simply.

We live in a complex world where limited resources and health are under pressure from speed and productivity.

Here are 5 major needs I’ve identified after over 10 years of international experience, working closely with practitioners and professionals in tourism and the outdoor sector:

1. Ambitious individuals (leaders, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, passionate people, atypical profiles, etc.) need mental support just as much—if not more—than others.

2. People are experiencing a growing need for social connection and inclusion—a reconnection to authenticity, reality, and the essentials.

3. Informal community leaders and alternative guides need to become more aware of the responsibilities, impacts, and limits that come with their roles and outdoor practices.

4. Individuals increasingly need digital disconnection—to reassess the role of new technologies in light of real-world experiences.

5. People going through life transitions or living with invisible disabilities (fears, illnesses, traumas, neurodivergence, limiting beliefs, special needs, chosen or imposed responsibilities, feelings of isolation or loneliness…) often remain silent or misunderstood.We shouldn't have to choose between success, health, freedom, and authenticity.

Because health is not something to take lightly, I will guide you toward the right resources.

A coach does NOT replace a therapist but can work in parallel. Coaching starts from the present situation and helps move you into action toward a desired outcome.It is a time-bound process designed to support autonomy. Coaching focuses on evolving deep-seated behaviors toward sustainable change.

A coach is not there to give advice — they are not a consultant, mentor, or friend. They work within a strict ethical framework, where ethics, confidentiality, and respect are foundational.

ICF Coaching Certification is a professional recognition awarded by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), one of the world’s leading coaching organizations.It confirms that a coach has reached a certain standard of competence, ethics, and professionalism based on rigorous criteria.

The International Coaching Federation, founded in 1995:

• Brings together professional coaches from around the globe

• Sets international standards for training, ethics, and coaching competence

• Issues globally recognized certifications

Why this certification matters:

• It guarantees a high level of coaching skill and ethical conduct

• It enhances a coach’s credibility in the marketplace

• It holds coaches accountable to a strict Code of Ethics

• It is often expected or valued by clients and organizations

The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program trains first aiders to better identify mental health disorders, adopt an appropriate response, provide information about available resources, encourage seeking help from suitable professionals, and, in case of crisis, take action to connect the person to the most appropriate service.

It is inspired by physical first aid training but follows a different emergency logic: a mental health first aider often needs to intervene multiple times—to listen, reassure, and support the person in seeking care.

In a societal context where mental health issues are often minimized or stigmatized, training in mental health first aid is a civic action.We can all make a difference, each at our own level.
