Worked in outdoor retail stores (Mountain Designs and Fjällräven), assisting travelers coming to Australia and departing for Europe with their equipment needs. This experience allowed me to experiment with new ways to influence customers in a retail context, using emotional intelligence (EI) techniques to help them prepare for their adventures.

Advised customers and handled bookings (IBIS Software) for complete trips across New Zealand. Observed cruise passenger behaviors and studied the Tiaki Promise project. Proposed a concept to develop the local business network through a loyalty card (package) to support and protect the local community amid rising prices while remaining attractive to visitors.
