Bringing together like-minded people through nature, movement, and meaningful conversation 🌍✨

Being out in nature, traveling, hiking, or just pausing outdoors offers us incredible opportunities — to connect or reconnect with ourselves, others, and the world around us. And that’s exactly what we did!

Yesterday, we explored so many exciting and important topics, including:

🌿 Outdoor activities & health – how time in nature supports well-being, both physically and mentally.

🧠 Outdoor therapies – developments in the Région Grand Est and how they can be expanded.

👩‍⚕️ The GP’s role – in prevention, the lack of resources in France, and the importance of better training.

🥾 Walk leaders – their growing role in guiding health-oriented outdoor experiences.

🌸 Phytotherapy, herbal knowledge, hiking gear & outdoor navigation – practical tools and nature-based wisdom.

🧳 Seasonal tourism jobs & lifestyle – the beauty and challenges of working with the rhythm of the seasons. Job as eco-garde and how to deal with wrong tourist behaviour in the mountains.

☕ Creating alternative spaces – ideas for building a traveler-friendly coffee shop/hub for outdoor enthusiasts, and the hurdles to make it real.

🚐 Vanlife, travel stories & expat life – how movement and place shape our perspectives.

🌍 GP home/practice exchange – ways for general practitioners to explore the world without losing touch with the communities they care for.

🏠 Support for expats & returning GPs – helping them reintegrate into the countries they grew up in.

👵 Alternative support for elders – bringing nature and connection into elder care.

💬 Support for peer-carers – acknowledging their role and giving them space, tools, and recognition.

It was such a meaningful time spent in the stunning Champsaur Valgaudemar valley.

Thank you to everyone who joined, contributed, and shared the journey.

Let’s keep the conversation going, support each other’s projects, and continue building bridges between health, nature, and human connection 🙌💚
