Movement in nature

Living with an invisible handicap and a deep desire to evolve, I’ve long turned to movement, nature, Human sciences, and community as vital parts of my survival and growth.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve immersed myself in international research and social experiments, seeking universal, sustainable, and regenerative strategies for the future.
What if movement in nature (walking, trekking, traveling) and real human connection could be powerful catalysts for learning, transformation, and healing?
It’s now widely proven that walking in nature supports both mental and physical well-being. That makes sense: we are not separate from nature; we are nature, part of ecosystems much greater than ourselves. When we open to this reality, something profound begins to shift.
In my own journey, long-distance hikes, especially in unfamiliar lands, have provided fresh perspectives on life and self. They’ve helped me regenerate and rediscover my pathway. Here’s why this kind of movement matters:
1. A Walking Meditation
Like meditation, walking invites slowness. It offers time to pause, to observe, to reconnect with your body, and to process thoughts. It grounds you in the present moment ; a necessary gateway to true regeneration.
2. Nights in the Wild
A single night in nature can reset your inner rhythm. Unplugging from your phone magnifies this effect. The deep silence, the vast sky, and the absence of artificial stimulation restore a sense of peace and perspective.
3. The Power of Human Connection
Shared experiences in nature forge strong bonds. On long-distance treks, you often meet fellow travelers open to meaningful conversations and connection. When you’re part of a group that shares your values, the spirit of community unfolds… unexpectedly, beautifully. And when these experiences are guided by an outdoor coach or certified walk leader, the transformation deepens, not only within yourself, but also in how you affect your environment and those around you.
From Inner Change to Community Impact
When I returned to France in 2020, I began experimenting with how to bring the spirit of my travels and trekking into everyday life, especially the strong, supportive communities I encountered on the trail.
In 2024, Blabla Walks – 3 Borders Community was born.
Today, over 300 people from all over the world have joined, supported by six natural core leaders who organize at least one hike every weekend. It’s incredible to witness how simply exploring nature together creates well-being, not just for me, but for others too.
As a qualified walk leader and an almost-certified ICF immersive coach, I now guide individuals through their own journeys of change, often starting with something as simple as one step at a time in Nature. I use outdoor and leadership to transform compagnies approaches into sustainable communities.
So, what if your next step, literal or metaphorical, could lead to reconnection, insight, and regeneration starting by self-discovery into nature?
Would you take it?
